12/17/2024 1 Comment December 17th, 2024Thank you to everyone that attended the gathering on Sunday, 12/15. The discussion was awesome, very heartfelt and thought provoking just as the book seems to be! So glad you are all enjoying the book. Today's entry on friendship really hit home for me as I am meeting a friend today for coffee, one that I feel, I have not done a very good job at nurturing our friendship over the years. I am praying to Mary for her guidance to be a thoughtful listener and that the words I speak are genuine and loving!

Worry is something that is so much apart of our world today. It seems there is an ever-growing list of things to worry about. This passage was a good reminder that worry has been around for as long as there have been people on earth. Elizabeth had plenty to worry about in her life too. The image that best represents this to me is sharing the yoke with Jesus. (question 4). My heart tells me that if I share this yoke with Jesus, it lightens my load. The hard part is getting to the point where I surrender myself to actually get into the yoke and share the work that is ahead of us; leaving the worry behind us.
